Instructions for talks and posters submissions

It is no longer possible to submit abstracts of talks in contributed sessions, but you can still submit a poster before March 13th, 2023.

The submission form appears once you logged in to the website. The instruction to create an account are given below.

Talks for invited and contributed sessions

  • If you are invited to give a talk in an Invited session, please select the Topic "Invited session/ " and the title of the session to  which you are invited.
  • Else, if you want to present a recently published paper, or a new unpublished result to the applied probability community, we encourage you to submit an abstract to a Contributed session. For this, just select the Topic ''Contributed session'', and submit your title and abstract. If your proposal is selected, your talk will be included in a (possibly thematic) contributed session.

While preparing your talk, you might be interested in knowing that the slides will be displayed on a 16:9 screen and that a paperboard is available in every room.

Posters

There will be a 90 min Poster session at the Informs APS 23 conference. Presenting a poster may be a great opportunity for introducing, and directly interacting with colleagues, especially (but not only!) if you are a junior applied probabilist. In addition, the number of possible contributed talks may be limited. In the case that it is not possible to accomodate your contributed talk, you will automatically be considered for a poster.

To submit a poster proposal, please select the type of your contribution as ''poster'', and submit your title and abstract.

The poster format should be A0 and it must be printed and carried to the conference by the author.

Create an account

If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking on Login as the image below shows.

When you click on the arrow, choose the "Create account" option.

Once your account is created, you will receive an email from Sciencesconf asking you to validate your account creation request. Click on the validation link provided in the email to validate your account creation.

IMPORTANT: once you have clicked on that link, you might receive an error message like 'invalid token' or 'this page does not exist'. It does not matter, your account has been created successfully - and you can then log in to the website by clicking 'Login'.

You can then submit your proposal.
